Adelf-Epiter Congress on 15 and 16 March 2023 in Lomé
The theme of 2023’s International Congress on Epidemiology and Public Health in Lomé is “Public Health and Emerging and Re-emerging Diseases”.
On the agenda for March 15: a #agenceANRS symposium on “Building together and implementing an equitable research partnership to prevent and respond to emergencies?”
This symposium will present:
– the management of SARS-COV-2 in people in vulnerable situations by Inès DA (MURAZ Center);
– Genomic surveillance with #AFROSCREEN by Ester KONOU (University of Lomé) and Mathias ALTMANN (Institute of Public Health, Epidemiology and Development (ISPED));
– the partnership between communities and researchers with the example of a vaccine trial against Ebola by Waly DIOUF (Inserm ALIMA – The Alliance for International Medical Action, Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD).
The #AFROSCREEN project will also be honored during the congress with the presentation of 2 posters:
➡️ one on surveillance of SARS-COV-2 variants in Burkina Faso
➡️ the other one on the COVID 19 monitoring system in Abidjan, Ivory Coast
